In support of our annual fundraising initiative for the Salvation Army, Miami Valley Steel is once again organizing Putting For Charity!
Participation for employees comes at a minimal cost of $1, which provides them with three opportunities to sink the putt. Here’s how it works: for every successful shot, three MVS managers will contribute $1 each; for two successful shots, the contribution increases to $10 each; and if all three shots are made, each manager will generously donate $50. This means that a mere $1 donation has the potential to transform into $151 if all three balls find their mark. On the flip side, if a participant misses all three attempts, they will be responsible for a $2 contribution as a fun penalty for being a “lousy golfer.”
In the previous year, we successfully raised $1,524 through this engaging activity. Let’s build on that success! The putting competition is already underway and will conclude next Friday, December 15th, at noon. Together the team at Miami Valley Steel is making a positive impact through Putting For Charity!
